Three Generations of Painting Craftsmanship and Care
JC Painting and Refinishing Inc. was founded in 2015, but our roots in the painting trade reach much further back. Owner Joshua Christopher is a third-generation painter with more than 30 years of hands-on experience. His background began with detailed restoration work involving antiques, historic homes, and museum-quality finishes. That early work established an appreciation for careful preparation, precision, and the small details that shape the final result.
Over the years, Joshua’s experience has extended across the country and into projects of many sizes. His background includes restoration work on a home associated with George Washington as well as large projects involving schools, hospitals, luxury hotels, retail properties, and other demanding environments. Today, we bring that experience to residential and commercial properties throughout Sarasota, FL, and surrounding communities.
Our approach remains centered on the principle that lasting results begin before the first finish coat is applied. We carefully prepare surfaces, pay close attention to details, and use premium products from trusted manufacturers such as Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore. We also provide transparent project information that clearly outlines the work, cost, and expected timeline.
For homeowners, that approach applies across house painting, interior and exterior projects, cabinet refinishing, epoxy flooring, decks, fences, and other surfaces. Qualifying exterior painting and cabinet refinishing projects are backed by a written 10-year workmanship warranty. Cabinet refinishing can also save homeowners up to 20% compared with replacement when existing cabinetry is suitable for refinishing.
As a painting company serving Sarasota, FL, we remain committed to careful workmanship, clear communication, and consistent preparation. Joshua Christopher and our team bring decades of knowledge to every project while maintaining the attention to detail that has defined three generations in the trade.
